Join us for our next Three on a Thursday Concert this June which explores the capacity of voice through two very different but exciting acts:
Sarya Wu (singer/guitarist) "My style is heavily influenced by Scandinavian pop and folk, as well as recent ambiental electronic music which has a lot of ethereal vocals. I used to do spoken word so my songs are lyrical and poetically focused. My favourite artists are: Perfume Genius, Joanna Newsom, Aurora, Daniel Johnston, and Tami T."
Susanna Davis Currently studying at St Mary's Music School, Susanna is applying for conservatoire this year as a classical soprano and plans to develop her skills in lieder and french song. She also has a passion, as a pianist, for voice accompaniment and wishes to further this as well in future endeavours. In November she took to the stage for Fife Opera's production of Cinderella by Massenet as the title role.
Three on a Thursday is a monthly concert series to celebrate and showcase the wealth of creativity and talent of Edinburgh’s young people. Each concert offers a ‘dolly mixture’ music experience with distinctly different musicians in style but uniform in quality and passion.
